The four link states are a:link (normal non-visited link), a:visited (a link previously visited), a:hover (user moused over this), and a:activate (a link which when clicked, not knowing it is there). I can remember LVHA or LoVe HAte. Practice using these states by styling them with color, declarations, and backgrounds. Take a screenshot of both the CODE and RUN. Go ahead and find a cursor that works for you and demonstrate your mastery of this code by taking a screenshot of RUN. <— It won’t show up in a screenshot, but I do want to see the code. Review the CSS background section. Do not get too technical here. I’ve always wanted my background to stretch to all screen sizes and now there’s an easy way to accomplish this. Use this link and copy the first example. Find a background picture and take a screenshot of both the CODE and RUN to show me that it works.
1) What is the difference between a system font and a web font? Why would you rather use a web font? A Desktop Font is designed to be installed on your computer for use with applications such as Microsoft Word or Adobe Photoshop. A Web Font is a specially tuned font for use on websites using the CSS font-face declaration. Web Font is better because it looks nicer. 2) Which type of font should you use within your body text? I believe the tip I need to remind myself of and focus on is staying positive. This tip is by the far the most important one because many times during the making of this essay I was heavily discouraged by the sheer amount of work I thought we had to put in. I struggle with time management heavily as well because i was discouraged simultaneously. This essay made me lose confidence in myself time and time again, but when we came to the final product I was more than satisfied. I addressed my biggest weakness overall which was time management in the essay but this only helped me to grow and develop, learning how to easily disdain from doing this again.
I learned how to properly fix spot blemishes on the face, and add blurring effects to lessen the sight of skin wrinkles and features. I also learned how to apply drop shadows and bevels onto an image. I enjoyed learning how to color correct and blur images because I could use that in future. I think I could use in the future for family photos and photography in general. I could use it to edit Teddy or mines faces in our original pictures. Cross processing is adding saturation to an image. Vignettee makes the edges darker. Taking this course compared to traditional school course has been an eye-opener for me. This course has really pushed my limits and has assisted in maturing me into a more well developed and hard working individual. This course in particular has been very unique, at least compared to any other class I've taken at Lake Shore High School. Compared to a traditional course offered here, this is for only the most dedicated persons. I'm aware this course has been very difficult for me and my partner, but when we put forward the effort it truly shows.
